Japan Matcha Tea
Green tea, from Japan. It is a high quality powder, obtained from Tencha leaves that grow in the shade, about 20 to 30 days before being harvested. They are harvested by hand, steamed and dried. The dried leaves are then ground with a traditional stone mortar and pestle, called Hikiusu, it has a wonderful aroma, silky foam and a rich, smooth flavor. It is green in color.
